上海版牛津教材的第二单元第一课的主题为Animals。基于教材提供的这一主题,本节课重构了以“People Like Animals”为教学话题,围绕动物的三个特征:Animals are lovely. Animals are clever. Animals are helpful.而展开的教学内容。

将生命教育融于句型与语篇教学中
教材语言分析:
牛津教材3B M2U1的主题是Animals.教材中涉及的重点句型是Do you like„? Yes, I do. / No, I
don’t. 本案例基于教材提供的主题,根据学生已有知识水平,对教材进行了深层次地挖掘和拓展,挖掘了Animals这一话题潜在的教育性意义。通过对动物三大特征:lovely, clever, helpful的归纳,从而激发学生热爱动物的情感,增强保护动物的意识。
教学目标设定:
根据三年级学生的已有水平和认知规律,以教材内容为基础,本案例教师设定的语言目标是在语境中理解、学习、初步运用„can help„句型;情感目标是激发学生热爱动物的情感,增强保护动物的意识。学生通过„can help„句型的学习与运用,在理解的过程中归纳总结出动物的第三大特征:Animals are helpful.从而自然而然地渗透了本节课的情感目标。
教学内容再构:
为了更好地达成语言教学目标、情感目标,在教材内容的基础上,教师在句型新授环节再构了如下语段(辅助文本):
I have many friends. They have dogs. The dogs can help them do many things. Ben is my friend. He has a dog. It can help Ben watch the door.
Danny is my friend. He is a policeman. He has a dog too. It can help Danny catch bad people.
Kitty is my friend. She has a dog. It can help Kitty look for things. I love my friends. I love their working dogs.
教学活动设计:
活动一:引出新授句型„can help„
通过让学生观看狗看门的视频,引出新授句型„can help„,视觉与听觉的双重刺激,不仅激发学生学习兴趣,而且有助于学生对新授句型的理解。
活动二:初步运用新授句型„can help„
在引出新授句型后,让学生自读辅助语段Working Dogs,边读边划出:What can Danny’s dog do? What can Kitty’s dog do? 在语篇中整体感知„can help„句型的用法。
活动三:操练新授句型„can help„
„can help„句型的操练是运用信息递减的方式,培养学生语段概括能力。首先让学生朗读老师出示的语段:This is Ben. He has a dog. The dog can help Ben watch the door. How clever! 进行机械操练;其次,让学生把语段This is ____. She has a ____. The ____ can help Danny ___ ____ ____. How ____ ! 补充完整的方式来替换操练;最后,只给学生几个Key words: This is „; „.has„ ; „can help„; How„! 让学生自己说,由扶到放,一步步由易到难,爬梯式的语言操练符合学生的语言认知规律。
活动四:提炼新授句型„can help„的意义
操练完„can help„句型后,老师要求学生将新旧句型融合,介绍一种动物外形特征、能力以及与人
类的关系。通过对动物与人类关系的描述,让学生自然而然感觉到动物对人类的帮助是莫大的,情感目标在此刻有效推进并达成,激发学生对动物的喜爱之情,从而唤起他们保护动物的意识。
