摘要：Recently, processes have been described for producing gypsum fibre boards, in
which the boards are formed from a paste containing calcium sulphate dihydrate andfibres. By heating and subsequent cooling of the boards, the dihydrate is first convertedinto hemihydrate and then recrystallised again to give dihydrate. In the prior processes,setting times of several days resulted, which are unsuitable for large-scale industrialutilisation of these processes. According to the invention, water is drawn through theboards after cooling. Preferably, setting accelerators are dissolved in the water. Thesemeasures shorten the setting time to less than two hours. The strength of the boards (7)can be increased by adding a binder, for example starch. ……
